Many of you have been asking whether we will have a winter retreat this year. Unfortunately Delta Marsh has closed and we haven’t been able to find another venue for this winter. However, we found a great venue, Camp Manitou, and have booked it for the fall. Please mark your calendars for our fall fibre retreat on October 15 – 17. This retreat promises to be as much fun as last ones and we have already begun the planning. Thanks to Corey Johnson, Dorian Zaharia, Heather Meiklejohn, Helen Konrad, Julia Semenchuk, Misty Bromley and Rachel Jehn for creating a retreat planning group. This is a non-profit retreat and to keep the costs the same as last year we are looking for people to donate their time and talents to teach a class/workshop. If you are willing to do this or know of someone we might ask or have items that you’d like to donate for the raffle, please call the shop or respond to this email.
