Shanti’s Photography
We carry cards and framed photos from local photographer Shanti Subedar. Shanti Subedar spent her earliest days in northern Manitoba amidst lakes and trees. Her photographs reflect her affinity to nature, particularly in the small details. She has an eye for the beauty in everyday objects as depicted in her fibre cards and in the natural world. Shanti is currently studying photography, yoga and horticulture across Canada.
Ladybug Creations by Carol M. Schroeder
In 2001, Carole formed her company, Ladybug Creations in Winnipeg, and works in her home studio. Her mission statement is to create one of a kind works of art which are also functional in design. Carole’s work is inspired by nature with the wish to bring joy to the eye of the beholder. Currently we carry handpainted treasure boxes each with a unique design with intricate detail taking several hours to paint. Each box has a ladybug painted inside to bring the owner good luck. In addition to these we also have handpainted light switchplate covers and greeting cards.
Artrocks
Are handpainted and designed by Artist Karen Fuhr. Each stone is handpicked on the shores of Lake Winnipeg.
